Euroaqua Plumtek, a brand of Sakkthi Polymers, is a leading manufacturer in PPR/ PPRCT industrial plumbing system. The company started its manufacturing in PPR - C pipes & fittings, and today is India’s largest manufacturer, involved in exporting to 10 countries. In 2017, the company commenced manufacturing PPRCT pipes & fittings. They procure raw material from Borealis, Austria & Lyondell Basell, Germany. They are the first in  South Asia to introduce the PPRCT pipes and fittings.

Thermoking Series

 

It comes in 3 layers of composite pipe- middle layer with fibre glass reinforcement to control thermal expansion, increase rigidity and strength to hold more pressure. Their other two products are Euroaqua & Airguard Thremoking PPR Pipes & Fittings – PPR/FRP/PPR and Euroaqua & Airguard Thremoking PPR Pipes & Fittings – PPRCT/FRP/PPRCT.

 

Firesafe Series

 

It also has 3 layers composite pipe; middle layer contains fibre glass reinforcement, to control thermal expansion, increased rigidity and strength to hold more pressure. All three layers are stabilised with fire retardants to achieve V2 rating. These are available in variants like Euroaqua & Airguard Thremoking Firesafe PPR Pipes & Fittings – (PPR/FRP/PPR) FR and Euroaqua & Airguard Thremoking Firesafe Ppr Pipes & Fittings – (PPRCT/FRP/PPRCT) FR.

 

These products are quality- tested as per standards to deliver zero-defect products. The company has got well equipped laboratory for testing inward raw materials and finished products with high quality QC department.

 

Some of the key advantages of the systems are such as higher pressure rate of upto 25 bar; resistance to abrasion and corrosion; high temperature application of upto 100 degree C, 50 years of life time, and leakage-free joints for life time.

 

Advantage of PPRCT over PPR:

 

When compared to PPR, PPRCT has minimum 20 per cent high flow rate. Reduction in wall thickness can use one size down when selecting pipe sizes, there by reduced fittings and installation cost, so total project cost will be reduced.

 

Their products can be used for carrying hot and chilled water for building, ships & industrial chillers. It does not require insulation due to its poor thermal conductivity. Joints are handled well by socket fusion welding ensuring no leakage or breakage. This is suitable for pneumatic pipe lines for compressed air supply in textile looms and other areas.
