Thermax, a trusted partner in energy transition and a leading provider of energy and environment solutions, has launched the Thermax-i series of intelligent boilers and heaters at Boiler India 2026. The range enables heating equipment to continuously optimise performance in response to changing operating conditions.

The first product, UltraPac-i, is an intelligent biomass-fired boiler that anticipates variations in fuel characteristics, ambient conditions and process demand. It automatically takes corrective action in real time to improve boiler efficiency, shifting operation from a reactive to a proactive approach.

Described as a global industry-first innovation, UltraPac-i is powered by EDGE Control, Thermax’s proprietary physics-enhanced, data-driven control technology. Pilot installations have demonstrated fuel savings of up to 10 per cent, offering industries the potential to reduce operating costs and associated carbon emissions.

The UltraPac-i boiler will be displayed at the Thermax booth throughout the exhibition, held from 8–10 October at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Navi Mumbai.

EDGE Control can also be offered as a retrofit solution for suitable existing boilers and other equipment, enabling customers to introduce intelligent control and optimisation without replacing their assets.
