Conveyors, Vertical Helical

Vibro Techniques offers vertical helical conveyors with electromagnetic drive. These are very useful for upward transport of bulk material continuously, where little space is available and for drying, heating or cooling of the material during the process of elevation. A double helical base serves to hold the carrier medium such as air or water. The salient features of this system are that there are no moving parts and the material moves up the helix by electromagnetic impulse. The material is deposited at the bottom inlet which goes up the helix round a tubular trough. By this system the material could be elevated vertically up to three metres. Greater heights can be achieved by transferring from one helical conveyor to another or by using specially designed vibratory motors instead of electromagnets. The equipment does not have any moving part such as belts, gears, pulleys, sprockets or such hazardous mechanism.
