Meco seals

Moktali Engineering Co offers seals for use in chemical plants involving rotating shafts. They comprise of stainless steel housing cover plates, Teflon stator, sealing washer, rotor of EPBM and UHMW spacer blocks. When the UHMW block is compressed by clamp, it extrudes simultaneously against the shaft and EPBM seal. The UHMW spacer grips the shaft, blocking any material flow along the shaft. Because of its coefficient of friction, the UHMW spacer blocks will be driven by the shaft and at the same time the rotating sealing washer faces against mating stator plates. For material to escape, it must now migrate between rotating seal faces and stator plates. Sizes 2-7/16" and 3".
