Permanent suspension magnets

Mumbai-based Elektromag Devices offers permanent suspension magnets, an innovation with many advantages over the electro magnetic suspension magnets. The magnetic strength of the permanent magnet will match that of the corresponding size of the electromagnet used for the same application. Suspension magnets, over the years, have proved to be most effective for the removal of unwanted iron from heavy burden depths of materials being conveyed on fast moving belts. Safe and sure tramp iron removal protects costly processing machinery, prevents sparks that cause fires and explosions and protects the purity of the products. These can be suspended over belt conveyors, or non-magnetic sections of vibratory feeders, oscillating conveyors, chutes, screens, and more. Applications: for protection of crushers, pulverisers, conveyor belts and other costly equipment; for purification of end products and materials in process such as foundry sand, fertilisers, food products, grains, chemicals, plastics, etc, by removing iron contamination" for reclaiming ferrous materials and thereby recover scrap with resale value; and for salvaging materials such as valuable tools, machine parts, and cutter tools.
