Bimetal Temperature Gauges are economical, rugged, reliable, temperature measuring instrument. The bimetal helix is properly heated, coated with viscous silicon to minimize the pointer oscillation and improve temperature transmission. Thermowell are designed to protect the temperature gauges from various corrosive media, viscous material or velocity and abrasives. The use of thermowell also permits instrument interchange or calibration check without disturbing or shutting down the process stream.
