Levcon offers Reflex Level Gauges. RS series reflex level gauges are very robust and reliable and are used for local indication of clear and non-viscous liquids in vessels under temperature and pressure conditions like steam boilers, condensers, accumulators and other pressure vessels. Direct level indication of clear non-viscous liquids in any process industry (including boilers) involving non-corrosive or corrosive liquids.
- Materials of Construction: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, PVC, Polypropylene, Rubber/ FEP Lined or ECTFE/ FEP Coated for Corrosive Applications.
- Glass: Moulded borosilicate (extra hard) Reflex glasses conforming to BS 3463: 1975 or Equivalent Standard.
- Gaskets for Glass
- Sealing Side: SLS150B – Graffoil with SS Sheet insert.
- Cushion Side: SIL4430 – Glass Fibre with Nitrile Rubber Binder.
- N.B: Other Gaskets: CAF, Teflon, Neoprene also available.
- Bolts, Studs & Nuts: High Tensile steel (A193B7, A1942H or Equivalent). Other types on request.
- Process Connections: Flanged, SW, BW or Screwed (Through Standard or Spherical Unions).
- Pressure Rating: Upto 80 kg/cm² (or above).
- Temperature Rating: 400°C max. for Non-Steam / Non-Corrosive Applications (243°C max. for steam and corrosive applications).
- Optional Items: Aluminium / Stainless Steel engraved Scale, External or Internal Steam Heating Jackets, Antifrost Blocks (in case of subzero applications) etc.
- Suitable for side mounting on tank/ pressure vessel.
- Large chamber type in case of boiling/ evaporating liquids.
- Covers with top & bottom strengthening ribs as standard, 3 piece type for high pressure applications.
- Die forged parts in case of cs/ ss 304/ ss 316 leading to robust construction.
- Carbon steel parts are normally phosphated and subsequently high temperature painted to ensure long life.
- Additional gauge section (optional) at side to achieve uninterrupted visibility.
- High quality gaskets for sealing & cushioning.
- Spring cones for bolts in case of high pressure applications.
- Offset type valves (with safety ball sealing arrangements) at top, bottom or sides. Other types on request.
- Bolted bonnet or screwed bonnet type having handwheel operated valves.
- Rotatable gauge body in case of top & bottom connections having union nut & nipple type couplings.
- IBR/ Lloyds certification (if required).
- Where high temperature is involved, the glass cover bolts should be re-tightened (at specified torque, using torque wrench) at site after high temperature is attained.
