Stainless Steel Standoffs

Shree Fasteners offers Stainless Steel Standoffs. These are used for sheet metal applications. Standoff is a device which when pressed into punched or drilled hole in a sheet gets permanently mounted in sheet. The hexagonal head of standoff squeezes the material around hole into the circular recess of standoff. After installation, the standoff head is flush with one face of sheet metal. The length of standoff enables stacking of panels. These are self-clinching standoffs/spacers can be pressed in sheets of more than 1 mm thickness. Standoffs are available in types: through threaded or blind threaded. Sizes available are M2.5 to M5 with various standard lengths. Standard materials available are steel, heat treated steel and stainless steel. Standard finishes available are passivation for stainless steel standoffs and Advantages of standoffs: easy installation, permanent threads with high torque and pull out strengths, variety of design and material to suit the application, panels can be easily replaced from parent panel for maintenance, no loose hardware like washer is required, space and weight saving.
