Recording Data On Cd-Roms Within A Network

The CD-Replica Server DP400 provides the capability of generating single CD-ROMs as well as CD duplicating. The DP400 is compatible with a Pentium PC hardware and contains either a 10/100 Mbit/s autosense Fast Ethernet or 4/16Mbit/s Token Ring network adapter. Seven recorders are able to produce up to 7 CD-ROMs simultaneously within just 15 minutes. The server behaves like a WinNT/ 95 workstation and can be accessed from all other clients within the network. Network data to be recorded is selected from an independent client and transferred to a so-called virtual image on the server. Supported CD-ROM formats are IS09660, CD-DA and mixed mode, all single and multisession.
