Advantech, the global leading ePlatform service provider, has introduced a 1U, ultra-compact, power saving, fanless system, the IPC-100-60SE. It features an Advantech mini-ITX motherboard with a built-in Intel AtomTM N450 processor. The fanless design has been developed to operate silently and reliably in harsh environments. This all-in-one, ultra-compact, industrial system provides a mini PCIe socket on board and PCI expansion capability via an optional riser card, and is especially suitable for space-critical applications, including encasing inside automation equipment. Such an ideal turnkey solution achieves significant TCO (total cost of ownership) reductions, and is suitable for space-critical and silent industrial applications. The IPC-100 1U system comes with the popular 1.66 GHz Intel AtomTM N450 processor, which is built-in on the mini-ITX motherboard. The chipset features an onboard graphics Intel Gen 3.5 and GFX render core, and delivers high-quality graphics to fulfil a variety of applications. It supports a 2.5” SATA HDD and a slim-type SATA ODD. The AT power switch is located on the rear panel to avoid accidental bumps. With elegant black design and only 288 mm in depth, the IPC-100 can be used as a space-saving desktop system, fixed in a rack, or embedded in larger equipment. The all-in-one compact system features versatile I/O connections, including two Gigabit Ethernet ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, three serial ports, a VGA port, and audio jacks. It supports various Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded (XPe), Windows Vista Ultimate X86/ Business X86.
