The screen body consists of two side plates with bolted transverse supports and screen mounts. The screen bar is based on an open design concept.
For the linear motion screens, the drive is through direct force exciter with cardon shaft or through unbalanced motors. The angle of throw which depends on the application is usually 35-60o and is adjusted by counterweights.
In circular motion screens, the drive is either direct or through cardon shaft and V-belts. The shaft, with its eccentric weights, runs in heavy-duty self-aligning roller bearing and the throw of the vibrating screen is varied by adjusting the eccentric weight.
Linear as well as circular motion screens are supported above the substructure by helical coil springs and the angle can be varied to suit the application. These screens find usage in various applications such as sand, gravel, minerals, ores, pellets, sinter, coal, etc.
