Portland Pozzolana Cement

Ambuja Cement took the lead to manufacture and introduce Portland Pozzolana Cement PPC (Fly Ash based) conforming to IS: 1489 (Part –I) with a compressive strength of 53 MPA at 28 days. This has a dual advantage of high compressive strength as well as superior performance of PPC as it can produce high grade concrete with longer durability and excellent performance. The state of art fully computerized quality control system ensures consistent high compressive strength. The targets are benchmarked to international standards, which ensure best quality of cement. Besides its giant strength it also possesses several distinctive advantages over ordinary cement. The properties of fresh concrete can be very well described as workability, bleeding, pumpability, finishability, time of setting, etc. The spherical shape of PPC cement particles and their better fineness has beneficial effect on workability. The spherical shape allows the concrete to move more freely and the tiny fine particle size allows better filling of the pores.
