Disturbance-Free Capacitive Sensors

The capacitive sensors from Carlo Gavazzi practically eliminate interferences caused by electrostatic discharges. The electromagnetic compatibility of the sensors has been drastically improved, providing protection against electrostatic discharges of up to 17,000 V. Regarding electromagnetic fields, the sensors are not influenced by disturbances of up to 15 V/m (industry standard 10 V/m). As for the protection against bursts,the immunity can be more than doubled to above 4,000 V.
