Automatic Screw Assembly Units

Precision International offers Automatic Screw Assembly Units. These Assembly Units are suitable for screw-sizes ranging from M1.4 to M8, and for lengths of up to 40 mm., with torque up to 50 Nm. The threads can be standard or special and the setting can be changed easily and speedily. A further range of units is available for the tightening of nuts; grub screws; or studs of size up to M12. The quality and the efficiency of the screw-fitting operation depends upon accurately feeding the screws, tightening of the screws with the appropriate torque, and doing both the above at a fast speed. These units are provided with information on the depth to which the screw should be driven, and to give a feedback if either the screw is not there or the threads are not there. These units can be integrated into any automation system.
