Shear Controller           

Asia Automation offers a Shear Controller, which provides control of back gauge, rake angle and cutting length. The rake angle and cutting length control is timer based. The user has to define the timings for these timers to set the required rake angle and cutting length. Back gauge control can be achieved by using AC servomotor and drive. The controller gives analog output to the drive as a speed reference. It also accepts encoder feedback from the motor thus establishing a closed loop control. This provides the repeated precise positioning of the back gauge. This shear controller also can be used with two-speed motor for back gauge by adding extra output module. It is a best solution at low cost for OEMs and for retrofitting purpose as well.
