Ship Machine Tools offers hydraulic cylinders, standard duty, in medium and high pressure range, ISO preferred bore and rod sizes. Standard duty hydraulic cylinders:
- Bore dia ? 40-500 mm
- Stroke length ? 10-6000 mm
- Speed ? 10 mtr/sec
- Working pressure up to 350 bar
- Piston rod ? made from medium carbon steel hardened/tempered, ground and hard chrome plated to ensure anti corrosion and wear resistance
- Tube ? made from cold drawn seamless pipe precisely honed to mirror finish
- Piston ? one piece construction with just adequate design clearance
- End covers ? made from mild steel and precision machined to have good alignment for piston rod traverse
- Cold phoshatising is done for dust prevention prior to painting
- Tie rods ? made from special alloy steels
- Seal kit ? Parkar (Germany), Spare-Age (England), piston seal ? U cup, glydring, DAS, rod seal ? U cup, step seal with wiper seal, guide seal ? bronze filled Teflon/glass reinforced acetal
- Mounting ? front/rear flange mounting, clevis end cylinder, trunnion mounting, foot mounted
