Screw air compressors - Euro series

The new Euro Series range of stationary electric screw air compressors launched by Chicago Pneumatic Sales [A division of Atlas Copco (India) Ltd] are latest from their stable. These compressors come with many design innovations that make them more reliable, compact, and cost effective. The noise level of these compressors is as low as 70 db (A), which allows them to be placed near the point of consumption without creating any noise pollution. These compressors are designed with hot zone and cold zone concepts wherein the critical components like control panel are shielded from the hot zone for more reliability and optimum performance. All these units are available with various control options to suit the individual needs either with electro-pneumatic control or with Cptronic, a microprocessor based control system, which is an all-in-one control, monitoring and communication system. In this advanced user-friendly control system various compressor operating parameters and service schedules can be pre-programmed to meet process requirements. This apart, it precisely controls the pressure as per end use and eliminates the unloaded power consumption to highest extent resulting in energy savings up to 10 per cent. These models are also available with an integrated refrigerant dryer that gives clean and dry compressed air at PDP of 3 degree Celsius (reference conditions: 20 degree Celsius ambient temperature and 100 per cent RH). The units are extremely compact and occupy minimum floor space. They are available from 15 to 215 hp with capacity (FAD) ranging from 68 to 1000 cfm and pressures ranging from 7 to 13 bar.
