These are available from NTB Hitech Ceramics, manufacturer of high alumina industrial ceramics at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. It has recently entered into a strategic partnership with two Fortune 500 companies Kamatics Corporation, USA and Ceramtec AG, Germany, for Kevlar/Glass/Carbon Composite flyer bows and Zirconia wire drawing tools and guides respectively to serve the wire manufacturing industry. Ceratuff wire drawing cones, capstans and pulleys use a metal/ceramic "bolt-together" composite design. The cones have machined cores and flanges, which precisely locate the replaceable ceramic rings at the outer diameter. Higher wear resistance NTB AL95 Alumina is recommended for single or multi-groove wire guide pulleys, stationary guide elements and cones/rolls used to draw ultra-fine copper and tungsten wires.
