Ssrs & Angle Control Modules for Linear Heater Control

Satronix (India) offers import substitute analog Solid State Relays (SSRs) up to 90 A, and micro controller based single phase-phase angle control modules for current ratings from 90 to 205 A at an economical price. These provide true linear power output phase angle control. Command input accepts 4-20 mA, 0-10 V DC, 0-5 V DC, 0-135 Ohm pot, PWM. The 0-10 and 0-5 V DC models need an external VCC. The output power is proportional to the command input, i.e., switching point in the AC sine wave depends on control current 4 mA/control voltage 0 V corresponds to 0% (no switching) & 20 mA/10 V corresponds to 100% load. Transfer characteristics are fully linear. Linear control: (4-20 mA) or 0-10 V DC, 0-5 V DC, and average output power – 0-100%, phase to phase and neutral to phase; single phase – 10-90 A; 2-phase control models too available; and optional short circuit protection. The Satronix single phase analog solid state relay is pre-installed on an engineered heatsink, resulting in the optimum thermal transfer in the minimum amount of panel space. The precise linear control results in improving heater life and reduces electrical noise to adjacent products. The max surge survival technology includes a triple layer protection against damage from voltage surges. It electrically switches 1/2 poles up to 480 V AC rms. The DCB (direct copper bonding) technology and the thermally optimised heat sink design results in a high efficiency thyristorised control. Applications: infrared and quartz heaters, resistive heating elements, forming equipment, printing applications, blow moulding equipment, industrial temperature control, etc.
