Piri Electrols Pvt Ltd, an ISO 9001: 2008 certified company by TUV India, offers a range of Push Buttons, Model PB.16. These are industrial grade, 16 mm dia push buttons with normally open contacts, press to on (non-locking), housed in nickel chrome plated brass body with tinned kliptite/solder terminals mounted in electrical grade Bakelite base, with a choice of white, black, blue, red, yellow, green colour buttons. Electrical rating: 3 A at 230 V AC, contact resistance is 2.3, and tested by IDEMI, Mumbai. Piri Electrols Pvt Ltd, formerly known as Electrols, was established in the year 1962, to manufacture electronic instrument and control panels for the textile industry. Gradually, the activities shifted to manufacturing solid-state instruments/control panels for the process industry, e.g. cement, fertilizer, and chemical industries, etc. Facing difficulty in procuring good quality electrical/electronic hardware, the company started developing industrial grade hardware with the assistance from companies like IBM, BARC, HAL, etc., who were also in need of the same. Thus, the first UL listed type barrier terminal blocks were developed and marketed under the brand name 'PIRI', which were soon followed by indicator lights in various sizes, designs and specifications.
