Photoelectric Proximity Switches

Shiva Electronics manufactures photoelectric proximity switches. Enclosed in ABS plastic housings similar to that of imported switches, they are available in several attractive colours. They are lightweight and waterproof, and their fixing nuts are specially designed for perfect grip. These switches are available in M18 diameter and length to M80. The unit consists of a transmitter and a receiver in the same housing with a built-in amplifier. The switches work on 10 to 24 V DC and offer NPN or PNP transistor output to a maximum of 300 mA. The sensing distances are 100 mm and 200 mm. The switches can detect opaque as well as transparent objects like plastic, paper, cloth, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Their uses are in regulating, controlling, and automatic processes like packaging, food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, automobile, cement and textile industries.
