Power Electronic Systems

REOTRON single and three phase units are electronic, phase-angle regulators that are used for power control. Applications for these extend from controlling household appliances such as flow heaters to heating and ventilation installations or industrial ovens, the steel industry and shipbuilding. Also part of the product range are electronic power converters for use with lifting magnets, used in scrap-metal recycling for example. The unique REOTRON system reflects quality. Controllers combined with transformers are also available for coating film with a metal skin. The power regulation of these converters is particularly suitable for resistive and inductive loads and the systems can also be used in regenerative equipment. Units are available with ingress protection ratings of IP 00 and IP 20 or for even higher protection with ratings up to IP 65. It is also noteworthy that these units are able to communicate through serial interfaces such as RS 232, PROFIBUS-DP or INTERBUS-S.
