Light Emission Diodes (LEDs)

Kwality Group of Industries, which includes Kwality Electronic Industries and Kwality Photonics, is India's largest producer of light emitting diodes (LEDs), LED displays and opto electronic products. Having obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification, the group consistently achieves near 100% yields, and is a range leader, offering over 600 types of LEDs, displays and opto electronic products at most competitive prices and best value for money. The opto electronic products include LEDs, LED displays, LED lamps, IREDs (infrared emitters), photo transistors, photo detectors, flasher LEDs, high voltage LEDs, low battery indicator LEDs, high flux LEDs, LED clusters and filament lamp retrofits, etc. Due to large domestic demand, the exports are kept to a minimum. Now the company is adding one more chain of automatic bonders aiming at a capacity of more than 50 million LEDs per annum. It has also plans for venturing into semiconductor packaging with foreign companies with buyback contract. These high reliability electronic components are available in a wide range of colours – red, hi-intensity red, super bright red, ultra bright red, green, yellow, amber, blue and white of normal, bright (hi-intensity), super bright, ultra bright grades. State-of-the-art III-V compounds GaP, GaAsP, AlGaAs-SH, AlGaAs-DH, and AIInGaP, GaN, GaInN – LED chips form the heart of these LED displays.
