These charged particles then enter the collection cell where the ground plates collect the particles by virtue of electrostatic forces. An after filter improves air distribution and collection efficiency by trapping any agglomerated contaminants, which might blow off the cell. Indicating lamps mounted on the control panel of the unit indicate the status of performance as mentioned below:
- H. T. on - Green Light
- DC off / Dust Saturation – Red
- Door remains open – Amber
- Blower on - Green light
- Overload fault – Red
- Its suitable for industrial application such as metal machining processes especially where neat oil is used as coolant and to extract welding fumes etc.
