Lee Spring Company India Pvt Ltd offers a wide range of Springs manufactured from different materials to military, aerospace and/or equivalent British or DIN standards. Standard music wire and oil tempered MW springs are zinc plated and fully de-embrittled while stainless steel springs are passivated to optimise their corrosion resistance. Springs manufactured in type 316 stainless steel offer excellent corrosion resistance in chloride environments, purity levels are higher and therefore colour is more consistent. Our type 316 springs are ultrasonically cleaned as well as passivated to offer medical and food grade levels of cleanliness. LeeP™ plastic composite springs are manufactured in Ultem PEI resin rendering them inert and non magnetic. Other advantages include high strength to weight ratios that optimise performance while reducing mass, excellent stability of physical and mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, high corrosion resistance, low flammability, toxicity and recyclability. The smallest Bantam™ Mini spring features a wire diameter size of 0.102 mm – just slightly thicker than a human hair. To meet the performance needs of a diverse range of applications these springs are manufactured in Elgiloy, a cobalt-chromium-nickel alloy known for its high strength. It performs well in temperatures up to 454°C and is nonmagnetic.
