Generator Set, Cummins X 1.3 Series

Cummins India Limited has launched Cummins X 1.3 series Generator Set, the smallest 7.5/10 kVA unit from the biggest generating set manufacturer in the country. The Cummins 7.5/10 kVA SilentPowerTM generating set is a winner in the small genset category owing to its light weight, increased stability and low vibrations and environment friendly CPCB certification making it the most compact product in the category. The product is most suited for clinics, bungalows, restaurants, departmental stores and other spaces where the lowest footprint gets the maximum brownie points.

The generating set is powered by the Cummins ‘X series’ engine rated at 1500 RPM conforming to ISO 8528 specifications. The generator set uses a Stamford alternator from Cummins Generator Technologies, suitable for operation at 1500 RPM, 415 Vs, 0.8 pf (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase or 1 phase, 4 wire system conforming to BS 5000/IS 4722. The Alternator is brushless type, screen protected, revolving field, self-excited, self-regulated through an AVR.
