Gripping dies

National Wire Products, based in Rajkot, supplies round gripping dies having 8 or 10 nail holding grooves that give longer service life than the conventional flat dies. Each groove can give very long service, depending upon the quality of wire. The tensile strength of the wire should be between 55 and 85 Kg/mm2 and should be free from rust, scales and any other foreign materials. These round dies are made of best quality alloy steel, duly hardened and ground, and are used on the machines to grip the wire before head forming and also cutting wire and also to give gripping marks on nail shank, which is desirable as it has holding effect with the material, to be nailed. Gripping dies in all standard sizes are available and could be supplied immediately on order. Special dies can be supplied as per customer"s specifications.
