Chroma Electronics offers programmable micro-controller based Digital Temperature Controllers to cover the temperature selection range from 0-100°C to 0-1200°C. It accepts a variety of inputs as RTD 3 wire system and thermocouples as J, K, R, S, and T, etc. It operates on 230 V AC mains. It has an accuracy of better than 0.1% of full scale. The display is 4-digit bright red LED of 12.5 mm height. It has an open sensor indication. Users can set the temperature by membrane switch. Hysteresis can be adjusted from 0-99 degrees, output via one set of changeover relay contacts rated 5 A at 230 V AC. The case is of standard DIN size, viz., panel cutout 68 x 68 mm and depth is 115 mm. Applications are in industries like chemicals, textiles, steel plants, plastics, glass, etc. According to the required temperature range, minimum/maximum temperature to be measured and the type of sensor to be used, the company also undertakes to manufacture instruments as per customers’ requirements.
