Oxygen Indicator ? Combustion Control (Flue Gas)

The Cosmos XP-3180E is a part of the new XP-3000 series from Prism Gas Detection, an ISO: 9001 company, which features portable detectors for combustible gases and many gases including oxygen. The XP-3180E is a reliable, flexible system with enhanced electronic features in a rugged field proven design and is highly recommended for quick and easy measuring concentration of oxygen in the flue gas of boilers, etc. It provides maximum convenience of operation for combustion efficiency of combustion appliances. This instrument has an output for interconnection to a recorder or an external remote signal unit or also for making a periodic measurement of oxygen in flue gas as well as checking heat treating atmospheres ? Model XP-3180E ? which measures oxygen without interference from background gases. Use is made of cooling down probe here for the sampling measurement in the heated atmospheric air. It has a big LCD screen with a simulated analog scale and digital numeric read out which displays the gas concentration and levels at a glance. The numeric and simulated scale are displayed simultaneously. The big screen with a back light makes it very easy for an individual to see the readings even in low light conditions, the digits shown on the screen are also large in size facilitating easier reading. The XP-3180 detects oxygen a detection range is 0-25 Vol% with indication accuracy of ?0.3%. The gas alarm is an intermittent buzzer with a flashing red lamp right above the screen. The alarm is set at 18.0 Vol%. The instrument is supplied with standard accessories as soft case, 4 x AA alkaline dry cells, gas sampling hose (1 m), and probe with cooling drain filter. Optional accessories can be 2-10 m gas sampling hose, cured probe and data download software (CD-ROM software and USB cable).
