Pressure Switches ? Non Corroding, IP 66 (MZ)

Orion Instruments has released a new range of pressure switches with transparent polycarbonate cover for use in several applications. All the externals are of non-corroding material like stainless steel, aluminium and polycarbonate. The wetted parts are SS316 and Teflon, which make these switches suitable for almost every application. The sensing element is a non metallic nylon reinforced rubber diaphragm. This makes the switch sturdy, suitable to withstand surges, giving a minimum drift and a very long life. The switches can be provided with metallic SS316L as well, to suit applications. The access to setpoint in internal, which ensures that it cannot be easily tampered with. An additional lip with holes is provided to the cover, so that only authorised access can be allowed to the setpoint. The tough transparent polycarbonate cover makes it possible to see the functioning of the pressure switch, as also the scale. A separate terminal block is provided for wiring. A cable gland is a standard part of the equipment. These new IP 66 pressure switches find applications in chemical plants, water treatment plants, dyeing industry, cement plants, steel plants or areas where there is excessive dust or harsh environments.
