Linear Multiflow Meter

Shutte & Koerting/COX Instruments has announced availability of its COX 4050 Linear Multiflow Meter for monitoring of up to three independent flow sensors. Designed to provide user-friendly data entry setup and reprogramming, the COX 4050 provides automatic switching for manifold applications and temperature compensation with RTD input. A unique hand held remote and front panel key pad allow the user to select mass or flow rate displays, and a built-in RS 485 communications port provides a PC interface. Typical COX 4050 applications include engine fuel consumption monitoring, coolant flow rate indication and inventory management. This programmable flow computer can also be utilised to test and monitor hydraulic power components such as power steering systems, precision control valves and hydraulic motors. The 4050 can also be used as a replacement for COX 8500 and 8550 Modular Electronics System or competitive flow computers. For those who want to create a new system, the Cox 4050 offers more flexibility to reprogram changing flow conditions and the ability to interface with other data acquisition system at a much lower cost.
