Flow Switch

Gems Sensors introduces FS-500 flow switch for liquid flow monitoring. Switch set points range from 0.25 to 5 GPM and pressure ratings of 100 PSI at 70?F and 50 PSI at 180?F. Maximum operating temperature is 212?F. Increasing flow displaces the unit's magnet equipped shuttle, which actuates a hermetically sealed reed switch. When flow decreases, the 316 stainless steel spring returns the shuttle to the no-flow position, deactuating the switch. A twist-off bonnet and shuttle facilitate cleaning. All wetted parts are NSF or FDA compliant, hydrolytically stable, glass filled polypropylene or stainless steel. Applications range from water treatment to medical laser cooling.
