Specialised Forgings

Specialised Forgings are complex and high precision forgings. Steel and Industrial Forgings Ltd (SIFL) manufactures these form 8 to 380 kg net weight apiece. The range includes: various critical forgings of special metals, viz, titanium and aluminium alloys, nickel and stainless steel for aero engines, forgings of carbon and alloy steels for dumpers, excavators, loaders; and critical forgings of carbon and alloy steels, low alloy steels, etc, on locomotives for Indian Railways. Applications are in defence, aero and space research, commercial vehicles and light automobiles, etc.
