Submerged Arc Welding Machine

The submerged arc welding machine, Model 601 SSI, manufactured by Shiv Shakti Industries is used for special purpose as automatic submerged arc welding machine with mounted trolley head. This is widely used in gas cylinder manufacturing plants. The machine comes with current rating from 600 to 1200 A. Custom-built fixtures can also be provided. Salient features: three phase full wave bridge circuit giving steady wave with minimum ripple; low power consumption; good quality semi conductor device to ensure long life; easy starting with built-in high frequency unit; stepless regulation of current; and excellent static and dynamic welding characteristic. Optional: low current attachment for TIG welding applications according to application requirement. Standard set of accessories consists of: 4 mtr long welding cable and electrode holder, and 4 mtr long welding cable for earthing. Specifications: power source – 301 VM; max rated welding current – 15 A; frequency – 50 Hz; input supply 380 to 440 V, 1-phase; duty cycle – 60%; output current 60% - 300; output current 100% - 225; kVA – 13.5; open circuit voltage – 18.45 DC; cooling – forced air; and applicable wire – 0.8, 1.0, 1.2.
