Electric Bent Arm Tapping Machine

The Electric Bent Arm Tapping Machine, JSM5-16 is a compact, lightweight and portable machine and has a massive reach. This machine has a horizontal reach of 890 mm in 360 degrees, and a vertical reach of 400mm from mounting face. This machine comes with Taco make reversible tapping attachments, so there is no need for operator to reverse motor for tap extraction after tapping. Feed lever seen in photograph is used to pivot the tapping head. For tapping feed lever is pressed downward on completion on tapping lever is released due to spring loading lever returns and tap also starts to return at double speed. After coming out of tapping hole tap again changes direction to forward. These machines provide a cost effective solution to costly tapping operation on VMC where by Tapping operation is done on this machine thereby saving costly VMC machine hour rate. Also operator idle time during VMC operation is utilized. The machine is available in pure vertical or horizontal models.
