The offered portable Tube Bevelling and Parting Machine chamfers around the opening of the tubes for weld edge preparation. This portable machine is designed to produce neat, circular weld edge preparation quickly for better welding penetration and for reducing the operator’s fatigue.
- This in-situ pipe bevelling machine has the capabilities of multiple operations - it can do part-off operation and also facing of the flanged surface of the pipe; uniform bevelling, quick clamping, quick changeover of set up for different diameter of tubes from Ø7 mm to Ø130 mm etc are the other advantages.
- A specially designed, all steel body, 3 jaw self-centring chuck grips the pipe; the machine is equipped with a tool holder which can accommodate both beveling and parting tools.
- Since indexable carbide inserts are used, its inbuilt advantages of longer tool life, easy tool change, higher speed and feed rates, etc., will be available; in a single cut, material removal is expected to be around 0.15 mm. A standard, VFD controlled 0.25 HP motor will provide the drive.
