Hot Melt Coaters

Hyden Plastics offers Hot Melt Coaters. It can apply any type of hot melt adhesive including pressure sensitive hot melts and adhesives with long open time. The coaters are offered for sheet-to-sheet coating and also for roll-to-roll coating. The speed of the roller is controlled and variable. Minimum 6/7 gsm to maximum. up to 80 gsm can be coated with this process. The coating roller applies a thin layer of hot melt to the part as it passes over the coating roller. However the layer being too thin cools down very quickly, and the part is handled immediately as it exits the coater. The coaters are used for various industries like shoe manufacturing, leather goods assembly, foam fabrication, packaging, product labelling, automotive interior parts, plastics, paper board, corrugated boxes, filters, jewellery boxes, label stock, soap wrapper, etc.
