Bangalore-based Ram Engineering, an ancillary supplier to HMT has spare capacity to offer high precision components, sub-assemblies and assemblies as per customer drawings and specifications. High precision 4 jaw independent chucks for lathes are made as per the following details: cast iron body; EN-354 jaws heat treated and ground to rigid tolerance; EN-24 screw, heat treated; and EN-8 guide pins heat treated and ground, fully assembled to HMT standards.
