All Geared Lathe

Model series “MDG” all geared lathe is ideal for all sliding, surfacing and screw cutting operations at optimum speed with high accuracy and unusual ease of operation. The spindle speed range is 71-1800 rpm in 8 steps. Main bed of the machine is a 25 grade CI, heavily ribbed and robustly designed structure to sustain any deflection and vibration under heavy cuts. The carriage with rigid tool-post is wide enough to maximize its load bearing capacity. The head stock in-houses induction hardened spindle and duly hardened and ground gears, which have undergone stringent quality checks. With simple change of knobs on the Norton gearbox, one is able to cut any type of metric or British threads. A separate feed shaft along the lead screw supplied as a standard accessory not only acts as a time saver facility but also reduces the wear and tear of the lead screw nut. The ABC (admit between centre) is available in three lengths, 1340, 1630 and 1770 mm and the height of centre available is 205 mm. Manufactured by New Di
