- These piston valves are available in size from ½” to 6”. The Vertex piston valve is seatless and glandless valve.
- At the heart of the Vertex piston valve are piston and sealing rings. This unique design ensures long life even at temperatures up to 800º F (427ºC).
- Larger effective sealing area – 88 per cent more than globe valve; zero leakage assured.
- Burnished piston and metal reinforced graphite sealing rings ensure perfect class 6 shutoff (i.e. bubble tight shut off).
- One type of sealing ring to suit all applications – a minimum inventory of spares required.
- Superior construction and manufacturing ensures trouble-free operation.
- Low co-efficient of friction and low operating torque.
- Piston remains unexposed to media. Absence of gland and valve remains the key reason.
- The only scrap-free valve, and is also fire-proof, maintenance friendly, self-cleaning and self-lubricating. It also reduces cost of ownership.
