Floman SPDT FFS series flow switches are designed to make or break an electrical circuit on flow or flow?failure of process liquid at a pre-set limit in a pipeline using liquids not injurious to phosphor bronze, brass, or SS parts, nor classified as hazardous fluids. They provide excellent performance where accuracy, reliability or rugged constructions are required. They can be wired to one circuit and open a second circuit when liquid flow either exceeds or drops below the preset limit. The FFS Series flow switches are recommended for liquids operating at pressure up to 10 bar and temperature up to 100?C maximum but must not be used on lines carrying liquids below 0?C. They can withstand flash test voltage up to AC 1500 V/minute Their contact point life is 1000 K cycle and bellows life is 500 K cycle. They may be used on liquids with high salt or chlorine content but it is not for use on hazardous atmospheres. They are suitable for operating voltage AC 125 V/5 A, AC 250 V/2.5 A or DC 125 V/0.3 A and DC 230 V/0.15 A. They are available for pipe sizes from ?? to 6? and flow range from 2 LPM to 1125 LPM depending upon the pipe sizes and flow range.
