Omicron Machine Tools offers CNC Cylindrical Grinding Machine. Characteristics: Wheel head fitted with high precision and long lasting hydro dynamic tilting pad bearing, roller bearing is other option at extra cost. Work head fitted with high precision roller bearing in cartridge type spindle, make it possible to grind between center as well as with rotating center. Tail stock is with adjustable presser and stroke, and can be hydraulic operated at extra cost, maximum 130 kg load is possible due to wide design & sturdy spring pressure of tail stock. Control cabinet is permanently attached with machine base and can be combined with in process gauging system. All guide ways are V and flats type and coated with turcite B for sleep stick free movement and long working life. Cross traverses (Grinding wheel feed) on turcite-B coated V & Flat guide ways, through ball screw and servo motor, electrical hand wheel is provided for manual operation with selection of 0.1/0.01/0.001mm selection per division of ele. - The longitudinal and cross slides are made from high quality gray cast iron grade FG-26, and have highly precise scrapped V and flat guide ways, with the distance between guide ways optimally suited to the machines overall rigidity, the slide rest completely on the guideways of the machine bed through the entire working length. This provide cornerstone for the excellent inherent grinding straightness of 0.002mm over 450mm measure length
