Brakes India Limited offers hydraulically operated Annular Piston Brakes. Features: progressive braking; shorter stopping distance – quick response; automatic wear adjustment; linkage losses are eliminated; optimised pedal effort and travel; and high lining life compared to dry brakes. Foot valve: unique features; mounted on the pedal along with brake booster; one brake pedal will be eliminated – lesser cost; and no compensation valve is required. Applications: agriculture tractors (typically > 60 HP); backhoe loaders; and front end loaders. Brakes India Limited is the leading manufacturer of automotive and non-automotive braking systems and ferrous castings in India. Established in the year 1962, the company is a joint venture between TVS Group and Lucas Industries Plc, UK (now integrated with TRW). In 1981, Brakes India established a foundry division at Sholinghur to manufacture permanent mould grey iron castings. Both divisions are quality and environment systems certified. Brakes divisions of Padi, Sholinghur and Foundry divisions, Sholinghur, were conferred with TPM special award. The Foundry Division has been conferred with Deming award for TQM.
