Diamond coated multipurpose edge sharpening tools

Wendt India, a manufacturer of diamond/CBN tools, has launched Edgestar, a range of diamond coated multipurpose edge sharpening tools. The range is ideally suited for a variety of sharpening and filling applications including: filling most ferrous and non-ferrous materials; sharpening dull knives and scissors; creating even edges on carpenters chisels, forceps, and needles; re-pointing damaged screw drivers; de-burring glass, fibreglass, plastic, wood, etc; rounding off sharp edges on ceramic tiles. Unlike conventional sharpeners (grinding stones and wheels), diamond coated surface does not generate localised heat which leads to thermal damage on the cutting edge. Thus, it enhances the useful life of tools. Edgestar, under normal usage conditions also tends to last longer than conventional abrasive sharpeners. These products are functional, ergonomically designed and save time and cost. They are ideal products for carpenters, wood workers, tile and glass masons and any other person whose tools need to be sharpened.
