Watch Dial Grinding & Polishing Machines

Indian horology industry today largely depends upon sophisticated technology and equipments. Speedfam (India) has developed suitable grinding and polishing machines for watch dials, using latest state-of-the-art technology from Speedfam Co Ltd, Japan. The watch dial grinding machine is a single side machine equipped with #3000 mesh stones. It has 4 workstations pneumatically controlled and fixed with special type of holding pad to hold watch dials on the stone plate during operation. The elasticity of the pads allows watch dials to perform grinding without breakage of legs. Diamond palleted plate with state-of-the-art conditioning technology allows dressing of stones on the machine quickly and accurately. The polishing machine is equipped with black polish pad and polishing slurry system. These machines are with variable speed control mechanism with soft start and stop functions to allow smooth operations. Approximately 55,000 to 60,000 dials of 25 mm diameter can be ground or polished in an 8-hour shift. These machines are found very versatile in expanding and upgrading the technology and equipments to meet quality and quantity demands of the huge Indian watch market.
