Surface & Profile Grinding Machine

K Jung GmbH manufactures Surface and Profile Grinding Machine in the following sizes: 400 x 150 mm to 1500 x 500 mm. The machine series have a modular structure, tailored to each customers’ individual requirements by means of standardised modules. This system allows the same machine platform to be used for both flexible small-batch production and rationalised mass production. Vario Series is based on a new modular cross slide concept offering quality and precision at the highest stage. The Vario series, designed as “hook machine”, through its innovative “plug & play” is most convenient for international use. Linear guidance elements in cross slide and in vertical axis ensure smooth and µ-accurate positioning. The longitudinal slide, fully supported in every position, offers a very high variability regarding various table superstructural parts. The cast iron made table guide slidesystem guarantees to meet the extreme high demands on a Jung machines, regarding absorbability features in the rerouting area and surface finish. The table drive is carried out by a roll thread drive with digital servo drive. The compact construction of Vario offers maximum flexibility in the working area with small dimensions. This allows a free combination of different clamping systems on the clamping surface of grinding table with different profile dressing units from the Jung product range. The combination of Vario and Jung profile dressing unit PA37K offers ideal flexibility. The grinding area leaves no restrictions to the essential – grinding. Generous designed types of machine enclosure are the precondition for automatic work piece mounting. Depending on the requirement the Vario can be combined with multiple loading systems.
