Körber Schleifring GmbH offers CNC universal cylindrical grinding machine, ShaftGrind S. Schaudt is exhibiting the latest features of the ShaftGrind S with swivel-in spindle technology. The machine concept is ideal for the grinding of drive shafts and camshafts with a length of up to 650 millimetres. With the WOP-S programming ShaftGrind S generates non circular surface contours quickly and easily, as well as free profiles. It is outstandingly suited for peel grinding processes as well as groove grinding using CBN. The swivel-in spindle makes it possible to grind with a range of different wheel thicknesses and is used to produce free and plunge cuts in interpolation mode with a galvanically bonded grinding wheel.
