Plasma Cutting Machine, Gantry Plasma

The FlexiCAM Gantry Plasma (GP) line of CNC plasma/oxyfuel cutters is a heavy-duty and massive gantry machine designed to work in extreme conditions. It allows for plasma, oxyfuel, or combined plasma and oxyfuel cutting and marking of stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and other metals. The FlexiCAM gantry plasma combines high productivity, exceptional accuracy and sophisticated process integration to deliver the highest cut quality parts at the most economical price. The heavy-duty machined railway tracks are mounted below the height of the cutting table. This allows for easy loading and unloading of the table with forklifts and minimises the risk of collision with the machine. The transverse and longitudinal drive system with AC motors, digital drives and low backlash rack and pinion with high precision planetary gearboxes offers the highest accuracy, rapid acceleration as well as high cutting and positioning speeds (30m/min) throughout the entire work area. Various plasma cutting systems are available for cutting and marking of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The precise setting of the cutting torch height is achieved automatically by initial height sensing and maintained by an arc voltage height control during the cutting process. This ensures optimum cutting quality at all times. The FlexiCAM Collision Protection System (CPS) will immediately stop the cutting process in case of a collision or crash. The FlexiCAM Gantry Plasma can be fitted with multiple oxyfuel cutting torches for cutting mild steel plates with thicknesses of up to 300 mm. The FlexiCAM Gantry Plasma is available in widths between 2000 and 8000 mm. A variety of options (sectional exhaust table, water table, pneumatic drill, rotary axis, etc), is available.
