Ribbon Blender (Powder Mixer)

Paresh Engg Co, well known for mixing equipments for blending solids, offers a ribbon blender. The standard unit has triple action double spiral contra flow ribbon assembly fitted on a solid shaft which adds strength and rigidity. The agitator rotates with the help of heavy duty anti-friction roller bearings and leak-proof stuffing boxes at both ends. Material discharging facility at the bottom side/centre by sliding gate or Irish diaphragm valve or container tilting facility is provided. Hinged cover with feeding inlet is provided as required. Special features: spray system, chopper, heating/cooling jacket, GMP/non-GMP model, flame-proof motor and other arrangements can be provided as desired. The drive is a worm reduction gearbox and V- belt drives from the motor; large machines are driven through final machine-cut spur gears to the agitator. The construction is of stainless steel 304/316 or mild steel. These blenders are ideal for blending friable material and are widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, spices, animal feeds, plastic powder, colouring agent powder, etc. They are available in working volume ranging from 25 to 4,000 litres.
