Acid Pickling Tank

The Acid Pickling Tank is made out of extremely corrosion resistant polypropylene thermoplastic material. This pickling tank is custom designed according to the size and weight of load such as pipes, tubes, coil wires, bars, rods and structural steel. This PP tanks are popularly used for pickling, degreasing, electro plating, rinsing, fluxing, anodising, passivation, pre- & post-treatment and metal surface treatment. The tank is then housed in steel structure frame for mechanical reinforcement and it is covered with fibreglass. The tank is designed and engineered on "Rita" Tank Building Software module. The methods for designing, calculating, costing and fabricating PP tank is to maximise benefits of advanced material with conventional alternative such as brick lining and fibreglass lining. The benefits include cost saving, impact resistance, extremely corrosion resistance, mobile, lightweight, leak-proof, environment-friendly fume free, increased longevity and zero maintenance, etc. The tank is designed, manufactured and tested according to German Welding Association DVS 2205 for safety and longevity. The tank is fabricated with the butt fusion welding technology, hot gas extrusion welding technology and hydro-thermo radius forming technology. It has developed radius instead of right angle corner at the bottom of tank. Thus reducing weld joint at the corner and provides sound mechanical strength. This technology offers better performance, higher efficiency, higher productivity, lower rejection, zero failure and environment-friendly atmosphere. The tank is supplied with accessories such as nozzles, heating/cooling coils, integral suction ducting for fume exhaust, integral slope for drain, lifting arrangement, top lid cover, etc.
